European Bison Show Reserve
Who hiking the Bialowieza Forest was unlucky to see a bison, can see it in the European Bison Show Reserve. It presents a group of bison, composed of an adult male, several females and their offspring. In farms, in conditions similar to natural ones, also elks, deer, roe deer and wild boar live. The attraction is also the opportunity to see a pack of wolves and lynx. The reserve is also a group of tarpana horses, consisting of a stallion, several mares and young. The complement of exposed mammalian species are the bison - hybrids (hybrids) of bison with domestic cattle and wildcats.
The Bison Show Reserve is located on the Hajnówka-Białowieża road, approximately 3 km before Białowieża.
Practical information: The reserve is open every day. In high season (from mid-April to mid-October) from 9:00 to 17:00, off-season, except Mondays, from 8:00 to 16:00.
