The Land of the Bison and Primeval Forest Nordic Walking Park – The Landscapes of Czerlonka (red) 9 km
An interesting route, recommended especially as a regular training in Nordic Walking. The route is marked as a loop, it crosses the regional road Hajnówka - Białowieża, runs along an asphalt road to the mid-forest settlement Czerlonka, and then along the sandy road passes the buildings of the settlement Czerlonka Leśna. The route continues with the route called the Green Road, then it coincides with the green hiking trail going through the Władysław Szafer Landscape Reserve and returns to the car park. The Władysław Szafer Landscape Reserve is a reserve located on both sides of the Hajnówka - Białowieża road and includes a strip of forest from 700 to 1000 m wide. The reserve presents the most important forest of the Białowieża Forest, mainly oak and mixed coniferous forests. One can admire enormus trees here - oak, spruce, pine, hornbeam. The reserve is named after the well-known Polish activist of nature protection and botanist - Władysław Szafer (1896 - 1970). The liaison route follows so-called the Border Road and the forest road to so-called Szadzka Droga and is a connection between route 4 and route 3.
