Nordic Walking Park Białowieża - Dziedzinka (green) 8.8 km

From the perspective of the path, we can admire the last fragments of a natural forest, untouched by human activity, and which has grown over the centuries. Bialowieza National Park is the oldest national park in Poland - a treasure trove of unique nature - marched by the border of the park you can meet rare species of flora and fauna, observe the life cycle of the tree - from a small seedling to fallen giants, and towering over the dome of the sky the centuries-old tree stands remember the times of royal hunting - Władysław Jagiełło and Stanisław August. Numerous boards inform about the natural attractions waiting on the trail. After reaching the BPN border, we see a lonely forester's lodge. This secluded, immersed in the forest landscape, a place for over 30 years was the home of prof. Simony Kossak (1943-2007) - an outstanding biologist known for his active work to protect the Bialowieza Forest. Later in the Bialowieza route will lead us to the place of national remembrance and further, to the Białowieża Forest Inspectorate, which has prepared a number of attractions for tourists (including interesting educational paths to learn about nature).
