Regional Museums - a trace of the spirit of the last century ...

The region of the Bialowieza Forest is a place of weave many cultures that create a fascinating braid of the region's heritage, binding the whole range of folklore, rituals and memory about the ancestors. In a place where different nationalities live for centuries, a specific climate has developed. Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian culture created an unprecedented composition. Old customs and holidays, as well as the local dialect, are characteristic features of this region. In the heart of the primeval forest, thanks to the efforts of residents, the echo of Podlasie folklore continues to play well in the woods. In search of traces of the culture of the region, we invite you to the Regional Museums presenting the interiors of old Podlasie huts, everyday objects, handicrafts.
