Culture in the region - Puszcza Białowieska - Zwolnij Naturalnie - HDK Hajnowski Dom Kultury

Hajnowski Dom Kultury was established in 1984. Commonly called "Górnik". It is a local government cultural unit reporting to the City Hall of Hajnówka. As a leading cultural institution in the city, we care about shaping cultural life based on the implementation tasks. Cultural education, art, cinema, theater are not foreign to us.

In the interests of social and cultural development of the citizens of Hajnowka, we strive to recognize and satisfy the cultural needs of all social groups based on local values, respect for the cultural heritage of the region, multiculturalism and openness to new challenges.

We have a wide range of activities: art classes, dance (folk dance, modern), vocal and handicraft and theater workshops. Our interests and talents can be developed by children, youth and adults.

We are the organizers and co-organizers of many events: the Żubr Fair, the International Parade of Brass Bands, and the Review of Non-Professional Art Hajnowska Land.

We are open to cooperation for culture with local and regional entities. We work with many institutions, including the Hajnówka Municipal Office, the Main Board of the Belarusian Social and Cultural Society in Białystok, the Provincial Center for Culture Animation, local schools, etc.
